Dalby's Almanack

This is a fascinating record of an Almanack used from 1734 to at least 1747 by William Dalby who operated the mill on Mill Lane.  Transcribed by John Randall.

As well as recording the day to day transactions of the mill, the Almanack has lots of useful information, such as the dates of Kings and Queens, Saint's days and even the precise dates of Noah's Flood and the Creation of the World!

Technical limitations mean that it is uploaded in two parts, but anyone seeking a single pdf file of the whole can obtain it by emailing roger.colwill@btinternet.com.
