I have lived in Bradmore for over 20 years but the village was a huge part of my childhood spending every hour I could here with my grandfather who was a member of one of the original farming families of the village. This had rubbed off on me with a life long passion for all things equestrian, breeding Kerry Hill Sheep and following in my grandfather’s footsteps with a flock of specialist chickens which I show. Professionally I have my own business in the field of human resources providing services to a wide range of clients in the East Midlands.

    Councillor

    Email: john-aspin@btconnect.com

I moved to Bradmore in October 2015 from South West France, where my wife Judy and I had resided since 2010. Prior to moving to France we lived in Gedling, Nottingham. We have 4 sons, all of whom have long since flown the nest, and so far 9 grandchildren.
In 2015, I retired from full-time working with my IT Company that I formed in 1984. That company is now managed by 2 of our 4 sons. However, I remain as a Non-Executive Director and Company Chairman providing my support and council.
